Catlin Adams
Actor, director, teacher for over 20 years, Ms. Adams is the youngest member in the history of the Actors Studio. Trained by Lee Strasberg, she also studied with Stella Adler, Lee Grant, and Gary Austin. Catlin is a graduate of the American Film Institute.
As a director, Catlin won the Directors Guild Award and an Emmy for WANTED: THE PERFECT GUY, starring Ben Affleck. She also co-wrote and directed the feature film, STICKY FINGERS; the TV movie STOLEN: ONE HUSBAND, with Valerie Harper; and the first episode of BEVERLY HILLS 90210. On stage she directed the hit comedy, BERMUDA AVENUE TRIANGLE, with Bea Arthur, Renee Taylor and Joe Bologna.
Her film acting credits include THE JERK, starring with Steve Martin, and THE JAZZ SINGER with Sir Lawrence Olivier. She has co-starred on a TV series and guest starred on dozens of shows.
She has been an acting coach on many films and tv shows. Recent feature films include FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, RUNAWAY JURY, TROY, MR. AND MRS.
